Thermal Labels                                              Let us explain to you the different kinds of thermal products on offer. Firstly, there are two types of Thermal Labels available, depending on the printer you are using. Some printers use a Thermal Ribbon and require Thermal Transfer Labels. This means, quite simply, that heat transfers ink from the ribbon onto the label to produce the image.   Other printers may use Thermal Direct Labels, in which case no Thermal Ribbon is required. On this process, the image is created by the printer activating a thermal sensitive coating contained in the material. Both types of Thermal Labels can be supplied in all sizes and presentations. A full range of adhesives are available depending on the application. The labels can be supplied plain, pre-coloured or pre-printed with generic information.
